Most cities in Iran have certain schools to teach religious introductions to those students who are interested.
This school are called Madrese in Persian.
The most famous one is Madrese-e-Khan in Shiraz. about 450 years old .
This school is very significant by it’s architecturally specially the most stunning tile works of entrance and it’s ceiling.
In spring period (20 March to May) the orange blossoms smells drive you crazy by lots of orange trees in the yard.
Mulla sadra (1571-1636) the most significant Islamic philosopher used to teached his students in this place.
This place still used to be a religious school and the lessons of Fegh’h (religious knowledge of Islam) are studied.
The Madrese is located at Zand St., next to bazaar and that is an attractive site for tourist to visit.
